Kate Ryan

Kate Ryan has written four children’s picture books: Belvedere Dreaming, Belvedere in the City and Belvedere Is Beached, illustrated by Roland Harvey, and published by Penguin Books. Her picture book, The Search of Fred Beaney - illustrated by Sally Rippin - was published by Lothian Books and was a Notable Book in the 2008 Children’s Book Council of Australia Awards.
She has worked as a freelance and inhouse editor for various publishing houses, including Penguin Books, Lothian Books and Random House.
She is now writing an adult novel and completing a PHD in Creative Writing at RMIT.
