Monkey's Solar Studio

Monkey Marc, aka Marc Peckham, has been involved in a wide array of projects throughout the years. He writes the music for his hip hop/dub band Combat Wombat who are signed to independent label Elefant Traks. He has worked with bands such as 'The Herd', 'Curse Ov Dialect' and 'Tzu' and has had success on Triple J with his band's single 'Qwest' reaching number 2 on the net 50. He also co-founded 'Labrats Solar Powered Sound System' which in turn started him on his many missions to outback Australia.

His new project is based at Abbotsford Convent. After buying an old shipping container, he converted it into a small scale recording studio. Just to be a little different, he is running the whole studio on solar and wind power.

Monkeys Solar Studio will be the base of many of his indigenous desert workshops and many other local projects. The studio will be available for hire from July 2007
