The Song Room

The Song Room is a national not-for-profit organisation that provides opportunities for enhanced learning & development for disadvantaged children through music & the creative arts.

The Song Room vision is that all Australian children have the opportunity to participate in music and the arts to enhance their education, personal development and community involvement. So far, The Song Room has reached over 150,000 children with its unique, free, long-term and tailored programs in over 250 programs annually across Australia.

It targets its efforts to children who would otherwise miss out, including socio-economically disadvantaged children and children with special needs and in remote communities or recently arrived migrant children, through in-school workshops, school holiday community workshops, performances programs and capacity building to help sustain the programs into the future.
