Tony Wilson
Tony has been at the Convent since early 2008, and wrote his second novel here. It’s titled Making News and will be released by Murdoch Books in July 2010.
Tony is also the author of Players (Text Publishing, 2005) and Australia United (GSP, 2006) as well as five picture books for children. The most recent of these is The Princess and the Packet of Frozen Peas (Scholastic, 2009). Tony had the Attorney General, Rob Hulls, launch another of his books, The Minister for Traffic Lights (Lothian, 2008) in the Convent Building in September of that year. Much red, amber, green and mauve fun was had by all.
Outside of writing, Tony is a broadcaster (Triple R, Melbourne 774) and public speaker. He will have an on-screen role at the 2010 World Cup on SBS.
