Industrial School

Designed by JB Denny and build in 1868, the Industrial School cared for neglected, orphaned or abandoned children and taught them a trade to 'keep them from adversity'. It is the oldest surviving building within the Convent grounds and the oldest known surviving privately built industrial school in Victoria.
