Traditional Chinese Medicine
Wendy has been practising since 2002. As well as treating a broad range of conditions she has specialist knowledge in:
• women’s health, infertility, birth preparation
• neurological issues
• mental health
Wendy is a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner in the divisions of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
To achieve maximum therapeutic benefit, her treatments combine herbs, acupuncture and massage. She trained under Professor Lun Wong, a renowned practitioner of Chinese medicine, whose knowledge draws from many ancient medical, daoist and martial art schools. She was awarded the Dean’s medal for her Chinese Medicine Masters Degree.
While grounding her treatments in the ancient traditional methods of Chinese medicine, Wendy also incorporates Western diagnosis to guide and focus her analysis and treatments.
Costs
Treatments start at $70/hour + herbs. Concession rates can be negotiated. Many private health insurance holders are able to gain rebates for massage and acupuncture. TAC and Work-cover clients are also welcome.
