Wendy has been treating patients since 2002. She has assisted countless people experiencing headaches, menstrual pain, infertility, allergies, and neurological disease. She is also sought out by women experiencing fertility problems, people with depression, and countless other ailments. She is a registered Chinese Medicine practitioner in the divisions of acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine.
Wendy’s treatments harmonise the mind, body and spirit. She is trained in the combined use of herbs, acupuncture and massage to achieve maximum therapeutic benefit. Using this holistic approach Wendy has been successful in helping people achieve an overall feeling of wellbeing. She says, “The combination of the three key therapies can be attributed to this. Massage helps to resolve muscle and joint pain, acupuncture corrects the flow of qi through the body, while Chinese herbs taken between treatments bring balance to the bodies organ function. Often, simple lifestyle changes can be critical causational factors, and even small changes can bring about lasting cures.”
Wendy trained under Professor Lun Wong, a reknowned practitioner of Chinese medicine, whose knowledge draws from many ancient medicial, daoist and martial art schools. She has also studied Chinese Medicine at a Masters level under some of the most accomplished practitioners in their fields.
While grounding her treatments in the ancient traditional methods of Chinese medicine, Wendy also incorporates Western diagnosis to guide and focus her analysis and treatments.
Costs
Treatments start at $60/hour + herbs. Concession rates can be negotiated. Many private health insurance holders are able to gain rebates for massage and acupuncture. TAC and Work-cover clients are also welcome.
