You will be given your own handmade book made with beautiful 210gsm paper and be inspired to embark on the delightful journey of a daily drawing practice.
Tap into your own unique mark making style using a diverse range of materials and techniques.
You will find your own essential relationship to line and expressive mark making.
Established Abbotsford Convent based artist Annie Edney will guide you through a program of sessions devised to give you the tools to make loose free marks that resonate with spontaneity.
Incorporated into the six-week course are a variety of experiences in different settings that will help you develop the confidence to draw wherever you are, whatever you see.
You’ll be drawing from life models and still lifes in the Convent Store and at the Gallery, from gardens and historic architecture, and further afield … including some adventures!
And later, you'll learn to come back to early drawings to develop larger work.
Most of all you'll have fun with like-minded people and come away with the tools to develop a valuable daily drawing practice.
