Let us make it easy for you! In Level One Focusing you will go through a series of exercises that build up the skills of Focusing and Focusing partnership. Each stage is designed to help you feel confident and support your learning. By the end of the workshop you'll be ready to continue using Focusing in your life, to know and accept how you feel, to help difficult issues shift, and to find the life-forward direction in any stuck place.
In Focusing Level One, you receive training, support, and practice in the basic skills of Inner Relationship Focusing: being in Presence with your feelings, finding a bodily felt sense about your issues and concerns, acknowledging and staying with your felt senses in such a way that they offer information and release. You also learn and practice the first skills of Focusing partnership: an open, empathic listening presence that allows the other person's process to move forward.
You will receive The Focusing Student's and Companion's Manual, Part One, as well as special cue cards to support the exercises we will do.
Pre-requisite: A guided Focusing session with Jo Kennedy or any other Focusing teacher. There's a special discount for booking three sessions because we feel that would be even more beneficial.
