Lentil as Anything

Lentil as Anything is a vegetarian restaurant that operates a pay-as-you-feel model. It is up to the customer to decide what they want to pay for their dining experience. People are invited to eat in the restaurant and then, if they so choose, make an anonymous donation into the wooden box on the counter. Meals are prepared with organic fruit and vegetables as much as possible and organic, fair-trade tea and coffee and homemade chai is served.

Lentil as Anything is a not-for-profit community organisation with a philosophy based around trust, generosity and social inclusion.

Lentil as Anything seeks to exist as a model of multicultural community that addresses social isolation and provides support and training to young migrants and refugees. The result of this is a significant, positive influence on the development of the community. Lentil as Anything endeavors to celebrate and embrace difference in a believe that multiculturalism is Australia's greatest asset. Many generous volunteers work in our restaurant and anyone who is interested in becoming part of the Lentil family in any way is welcomed.
