Singing Lessons
Community Choir
Discover your voice in the beautiful Yellow Room located on the ground floor of the Rosina Building in the Abbotsford Convent.
Develop excellent singing technique, explore your creativity, learn to harmonise, be introduced to exciting and varied repertoire and make new friends.
All levels from beginners to advanced, from children to adults, are catered for. It is not essential to be able to read music. Songwriting workshops are available upon request.

Yellow Room Choir
In a relaxed and supportive environment, we will explore many different styles of music including jazz, blues, folk, pop, soul, gospel, country, world music and more. In addition to the diverse repertoire I will provide, choir members will be given the opportunity to suggest songs that they would like the Yellow Room Choir to learn, and I will create arrangements of these ideas for the choir to sing in the following sessions. I will also develop some arrangements of Melbourne songwriters' work, as I believe it's important to celebrate our local artists and the rich musical landscape of our own city.
I encourage people to enrol in a ten week term because, as well benefiting from a significant saving, it fosters commitment among the members and the choir tends to develop faster when the same people come each week and musical rapports and friendships can grow.
Individual Singing Lessons
Whether you are a beginner or more advanced, individual lessons provide the space to work on your specific singing goals. Please contact me to arrange your lesson time.
Small Group Singing Lessons (2- 4 students per class)
As well as making a saving, learning with a friend can make singing lessons more fun and less nerve racking for adults and children. Great for families who have two children close in age who both want singing lessons. Also ideal for friends or band mates who want to learn to sing in harmony.
