St. Helier Community Store and Gallery

Lurking away in the studios of the Abbotsford Convent are the authors, painters, photographers, jewellers, acupuncturists, designers and musicians, seven days a week.
 
Perhaps on weekdays they are looking for a space to find a little chewing gum,  a newspaper, a book to read through and even just to look through the work of the other tenants that operate beside them day to day.
 
As a member of the general public, come and peruse the Community Store with the knowledge that the product of the store has been motivated by the underlying ethos of the Abbotsford Convent. Celebrate the five years that it has taken to prosper as a work place for over 150 people everyday.
 
The Gallery will exhibit work of the Convent Community on a monthly rotation. Gundowring Ice Cream will be available daily, and the staff of the many neighbouring workplaces can be found fulfilling their chocolate needs on a regular rotation.
 
Jewellery, artwork, literature, music, baskets, snacks and a fish tank.
