Learn the craft of hot glass blowing with master blower Phillip Stokes in his new studio at the Abbotsford Convent.

There are only eight positions. Bookings are essential. For insurance reasons no persons under the age of sixteen are able to apply for a position in the workshop. Applications will be taken on first in first served basis, acknowledged by payment of the deposit.

The course will be structured to cover the following areas:

• Basic solid forming
• Colour application
• Blowing
• Hot glass manipulation
• Teamwork skills
• General Overview of glass making practices

On completion of the workshop participants are able to organize for completed pieces to be ground and polished at Philip Stokes Studio Glass, at a nominal fee.
