In a Steiner School Years1 to 8 are known as the Class Teacher years each of which has a theme attached to it e.g. the theme / epoch for Class 1 is the Fairy Tales, Class 6 is Ancient Rome.  These epochs are linked in fundamental ways to the physical, emotional and spiritual stage in the development of children at that class level. 

We will explore the themes for the each year, the relationship to child development and how the epoch forms the background for the curriculum at each stage.  On each evening, there will be a talk followed by an activity similar to that which the class would be involved in.  Do come…it will be fun and instructive!
